DT Coordinator-Georgia MacDonald - Kentucky

After 28 years in the teaching profession, I traded chalk dust for a book and a porch swing. It didn't take me long to discover that I needed adventures in my life. I started a new career in the retail industry to support this need. At the moment, my adventures are revolving around paper crafting, getting to know amazingly talented people from all over the world via card challenges, and squeezing in a little travel. I've been a "Jack of all trades…" all of my life when it comes to crafts. Knitting, counted cross stitching, quilting, spinning yarn, and scrap booking have been stepping stones for me. They have provided an outlet to keep me grounded. About two years ago, a friend gave me a clear stamp set as a "grandma shower" gift. That's all it took. I've been hooked ever since. I've been married to the same man for 30 years. We have two adult children. They are married and live in other states. Hence, the travel!! We have one grandson (19 months) and a second one on the way!!

Chris Veneruso - The Garden State

Arts and Crafts are my passion. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t doing something with my hands. Currently my favorite pastime is cardmaking but I enjoy all forms of paper crafting. Over the years I’ve done all forms of needle crafts except tatting. I’ve tie dyed, painted, made prints, developed photographs, quilted and more. One day I hope to learn to throw clay.
My husband supports and encourages my creative side. Our family is a yours, mine and ours with 3 grown children out on their own, one teenager keeping us on our toes and two fur baby kitty kats . We have one grandson.
I am retiring from 27 years spent as a Purchasing Agent in municipal government and thrilled to embark on my next chapter. What a great start to be on the design team for Shirley’s 2 Girls.

Mae Wisor - Washington

Where do I start....Steve and I have been happily married for just over 21 years. We married when we were 19 & 20 (I am the older one) and still going strong.  We have lived in Puyallup for over 11 years and just love the Pacific NW. I am a proud mom of one very tall guy (already 6'4"). Nic, 16 and  going into 11th grade. He is active in football and baseball and I am the supportive booster mom. He is also blessed with a brain (don't know where that came from but thank the Lord daily) and had an all A's report card.  We have one fur baby named Zoom. He is a Vizsla who is totally spoiled. I work full time as the accountant for a land development company. I am an avid reader and I really enjoy creating cards.
DT Coordinator for PCP-Melissa Oeters - Illinois

Hi! I'm Melissa and I live in Hinckley, Illinois with my husband of 23 year, our 4 wonderful children (16, 12, 8, and 5), 1 huge cat, and 5 dog-lets. I have been into arty things since I was a little girl and I was introduced to scrapping and stamping about 16 years ago. I was hooked at that first at home party I attended and I've never looked back. My supplies and styles have grown tremendously over the years as has my passion for creating.
Paper arts has done wonderful things for me in so many ways, including giving me an outlet for creating and allowing me some much needed "me" time to relax, drink diet coke and eat the candy I've hidden from my kids. But, most importantly, it has helped me meet and build friendships with many amazing people.
Currently my favorite products would be Copic markers, rhinestones, pearls, glitter, ribbon, paper, paper and more paper! I tend to be a bit of a hoarder when it comes to supplies and get carried away when craft shopping! I guess you could say I like to be prepared.
Laurel Seabrook -Canada

I am married with 2 girls ages 15 and 12. I teach grade 1 full time and my hobbies are paper crafting (especially card making and scrapping), photography, blogging and painting. Although the job and family life keeps me busy I try to make time for myself daily by going for a run and of course playing in my craft room. I have recently been published in CARDS, Scrapbook Trends magazine, Scrapbook Trends Idea book, and in Paper Crafts magazine. I have been Guest Designer for Inspirational Card Sketches, Etsy Inspired, Sketch Girl and am currently on the Design Team for The Scrappiest, Scrap-Mart, Scrap Shotz, Scrap Tiffany, The Cutting Cafe and alumni for Get Sketchy. My passion right now is anything using paper. My girls are the inspiration for my scrapping, of which I am trying to do more of but I tend to do more card making as I love how quick, easy and satisfying they are... not to mention I am addicted to Challenges and participate in as many as I can!!!
Wendy Hoff -Minnesota

Hi My name is Wendy...a lot of people know me as Wendalyn... which has been my nickname for years. My favorite passion is cardmaking, which I am still addicted to even after all these years. I enjoy buying all the latest and greatest new items that come out. I probably have enough supplies to last me a few lifetimes. I also work full time and have 3 children who are 20, 18, and 14. My other favorite past time is reading or watching DVD's. So when I am not making cards I am doing one of the other.  I am so glad to be a part of Shirleys2Girls and I hope you enjoy my upcoming items that I will be making for them.

Ann English -Maryland

Currently a SAHD-( a stay at home daughter!) caring for my aging mother,
I am both a wife and mother of five children, all grown. Up until a year ago, I was a practicing educator---teacher, ELA Coordinator, and Preschool Director.
In her heyday, my mother was a fabric designer. She is a needle-worker extraordinaire, a rug hooker and designer, a silhouette artist. My dad was an architect. My children are all involved in the arts in some capacity. One is an amazing illustrator, another a fabulous painter… Trying to find my own niche in this artistic family has been a challenge!
Growing up, I was "known" as one of the class artists. My medium of choice was pencil because I was terrified of paint! When the children were small, I sewed up a storm and smocked beautiful garments. As an early childhood-elementary school teacher, I loved creating for my kids and classroom. I even taught art for while-so much fun!
12 years ago, my best friend introduced me to the worlds of scrapping and stamping---no turning back!!! I am passionate about the paper arts and love to share what I do with others!
Cat Darling - Kentucky

My name is Cat Darling. I am a wife,  mother, grandmother, and a retired Art and Elementary teacher. I am lucky to be married to the love of my life who supports me in my artistic endeavors.  I have two daughters, two sons, and one grandson. My BF, Georgia MacDonald, (who is also on the S2G DT) is the one who hooked me on scrapbooking which then led to stamping. Favorite tools...Hmmm, that’s a tough one. I LOVE punches, organza ribbon, rhinestones, and of course pop dots! My other interests are hanging with family and friends, reading, and watching crime shows....OMGosh! Did I just confess that? LOL I also LOVE to plan theme parties and make all of the invitations, favors, and decorations. I made the wedding cakes for my daughters weddings, and I look forward to making another for my son’s wedding later this year!
DT Cordinator for SNR-Gina Lindsay -Tennesse

Hi! I am Gina and I live in Nashville, TN with my husband and our three cats. I started stamping about three years ago after a friend invited me to a CTMH party. I enjoyed it and made cards off and on for the next year. Then I discovered Copics and was completely hooked, my life (and wallet!) have not been the same since. Stamping has opened up my life in many ways; not only as a new creative outlet, but has also helped me meet many new friends and have new experiences. In addition to paper crafting and stamping, I enjoy needlework, crocheting, painting, playing with clay, making jewelry, quilting and I am learning how to sew. I have always felt the need to make things!
When I am not in my craft room, I am probably reading, learning something, cooking or just hanging out with my hubby. We both enjoy traveling, picking out a new, random place and then exploring the area.
Judy Applegarth-Alaska

Hello, I'm Judy! I live in Anchorage, AK. I was first introduced to stamping with my step-mom who owned a stamp store in CA. I was just in awe when I walked into her stamping room at her house. I never thought I would still be doing this 10yrs later. Right now I'm addicted to nestabilities, Copic markers and digital stamps. My favorite thing is make cards and gift items for my friends and family. I also enjoy reading, movies, surfing the net, and playing with my dog, Kiska. I'm very happy to be a part of the Shirley's 2 Girls Team.
Jane Wetzel - Ohio
I have ALWAYS been an arts and crafts person !  When in high school I actually would "cut" classes to go work on my art projects! :o  I got into stamping at least 10 yrs ago taking an art class from a local artist making Christmas cards.  From there I met a SU demonstrator and the rest fell into place.  My crafting time was limited tho while having and raising 4 children now 19 thru 30yrs old.  I work part/full time for my church as a (Catholic)  religious education director.  I absolutely love the people in my parish and the children are great!  My dh is my best friend and totally supportive of my addiction!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE "Shirley's 2 Girls" images and am  sooooo thrilled to be a part of the team!  :)

Hello Everyone,
I'm sooo excited to have been invited to be this month's Guest Designer here at S2G.
While living in Okinawa, Japan with my Marine Corps Flyboy I took up my watercoloring. Which lead to doing my own matting & framing.  Continued with that when we moved to England. When we were stationed at Pax River Air Station in MD. I went over to Scrapbooking & continued that while stationed in San Diego. Hubby got orders to Okinawa again.  This time I stayed state's side.  Savannah "my Jack Russell baby" & I moved to my Mom's family farm in Ky. & became the caretaker's.  We were joined last winter by Baby Kitty.
While setting up a Blog for my Longaberger Basket business I found the stamping/card making world. I'm loving it most of the time."LOL" Copic's is a whole new world for me. And I have to get use to scaling things down from Scrapbook size & 8 x 10 watercolor's to card size.
Thank You to all who have WELCOMED me into your world.
